About red block print fabric
Will red block print fabric bleed in the wash?
First wash may release a little excess pigment — wash cold and separately once. After that our reds are fixed; the madder family is one of the most wash-stable palettes in block printing.
What is the difference between pigment red and natural madder?
Pigment red is a modern azo-free colour printed cold; natural madder (manjistha) is dyed in the older way with slight tonal depth and variation. Each fabric listing states which it is.
What can I make from 2–3 meters?
2.5 m makes a kurti; 3 m makes cushion sets or a table runner-and-napkin set with margin. For a full suit, order 7.25 m.
