Madder, indigo, kashish — colour from roots, vats and iron.
Our natural dye pieces are printed and dyed with colours from nature — madder red from manjistha root, vat indigo, and kashish grey from iron-rich mineral baths. Slower to make, gentler on skin and soil, and tonal in a way pigment cannot copy. This signature tier is disclosed per product with its dye source, spanning bedsheets, razais and fabric.
About natural dye collection
Why do natural-dye pieces cost more?
The dyes are prepared from roots, minerals and vats and applied in slower cycles with more rejects — a natural-dye king bedsheet at ₹3,999–4,499 reflects real process, not a label. Each listing names its dye source.
Do natural dyes fade faster than chemical dyes?
They age differently — mellowing tonally rather than cracking or greying. Cold wash, shade dry, and a natural-dye piece looks better at year five than a pigment print does at year two.
Are natural dyes better for sensitive skin?
They are free of azo compounds and harsh fixers, which is why natural-dye bedding is our recommendation for sensitive skin and children's rooms.
