About this piece
The top of the sanganeri bedsheet range: a king-size (90×108 in) Signature sheet in true neel — natural indigo, fermented and vat-dyed the slow way, then hand block printed in Sanganer. On 210 TC long-staple cotton, the buti reserves pale against a deep living blue that no synthetic indigo matches. This is the sheet for buyers who want the full natural-dye tradition, ageing included.

Size guide

How to wear
Let indigo be the room's one deep colour — ivory, bone and unbleached linen around it. Wash alone in cold water without soaking for the first three washes; natural indigo releases surface dye early (exactly like raw denim), then settles into a blue that improves for a decade.
Frequently asked
Is some blue coming off normal?
Yes — natural vat indigo always crocks and releases surface dye when new. It is the defining behaviour of the real thing; synthetic 'indigo look' prints do not do it. After two or three solo cold washes it stabilises and then ages beautifully.
What justifies ₹4,499?
Fermented indigo vats take days to build and each sheet needs multiple dips with oxidation between them, plus hand block printing and 210 TC long-staple cotton. Comparable natural-indigo bedding retails at ₹5,500–8,000; our price is direct-from-Sanganer honest.
How do I keep the indigo from marking light sheets in the cupboard?
Store it washed and fully dry, ideally folded in its own cloth bag (included) for the first months. Once the early surface dye has washed out, it stores like any other sheet.
