From the printing tables of Sanganer,
by hand, to you.
Sanganeri is a Jaipur house devoted to one craft: true Sanganeri hand block printing. We work directly with the chhipa printing families of Sanganer — no middlemen, no screen prints in disguise. Every piece is stamped with hand-carved wooden blocks and azo-free dyes, carries the GI-certified Sanganeri Print provenance (GI 2009, certified 2010), and is labeled exactly for what it is.

Printed in Sanganer, one block at a time.
Sanganeri begins with the block. Master carvers chisel each motif — buti, bel, flowering jaal — into seasoned teak, one block for every colour. On the long printing tables of Sanganer, the chhipa families we partner with stamp those blocks by hand, colour over colour, then wash and sun-cure the cloth to set the dye — the same craft, passed down for over five hundred years. A single bedsheet carries hundreds of impressions; a fine multi-colour jaal, thousands.
Real hand block, honestly labeled.
The words “block print” are abused everywhere — screen prints and machine prints are sold under the name every day. We refuse to play that game. Every piece in our catalogue states exactly what it is: hand block printed in Sanganer with hand-carved wooden blocks, on 100% cotton (mulmul, percale or heavier weaves, disclosed per listing), in azo-free pigment or natural dyes — with the dye type on the label. The slight irregularities where motifs meet are not flaws; they are the proof of the hand.
Three rules of the house.
Every piece carries the Sanganeri Print GI provenance — verified hand block origin, Sanganer, Jaipur
Stamped with hand-carved wooden blocks — never a screen or machine print sold as hand block
100% cotton base and azo-free pigment or natural dyes — fabric and dye type disclosed on every listing
