About this piece
A single (60×90 in) jaipuri AC quilt in a haldi-marigold buti, hand block printed in Sanganer on fine cotton with ~220 g of carded-cotton fill. Machine-quilted in channels — disclosed, as always — so it handles the frequent washing a personal, everyday quilt gets. The right weight for air-conditioned bedrooms, hostel rooms and summer-night cover, at the friendliest price in the quilt range.

Size guide
Every listing states its exact size in Specifications above — this chart is here so you can compare across sizes before you buy.
How to wear
An everyday personal quilt — AC nights, afternoon naps, train and car journeys. Machine wash gentle and cold with mild detergent, dry in shade; the marigold yellow should never be sun-dried directly, which is what dulls cheap prints.
Frequently asked
Is this hand made or machine made?
Both, honestly divided: the marigold buti cover is hand block printed in Sanganer with carved blocks; the quilting that holds the light fill is by machine, which is what makes it washable. We never blur that line.
How does it compare to a dohar?
A dohar is layered mulmul cloth with no fill; this AC quilt has a light carded-cotton fill, so it is one step warmer. Dohar for fans and mild AC, AC quilt for colder AC settings.
Will it shrink in the wash?
The cotton cover is pre-washed before quilting, so shrinkage is under 3% if you keep washes cold and gentle. Hot water is the only real risk — avoid it.
