About this piece
The top bedcover in the range: a king (100×108 in) quilted set whose face is genuine dabu — mud-resist blocked and dipped in natural indigo vats — quilted over cotton batting with two matching pillow cases. Deep, tonal, impossible to imitate in pigment; the bedroom equivalent of good denim.

How to wear
Let it be the room's single deep colour — ivory sheets beneath, brass or wood around. First wash (if washing) cold and alone; vat indigo releases a trace of blue early, then settles into a patina that improves for years.
Frequently asked
Why is this the most expensive bedcover?
Two slow crafts stack: mud-resist blocking plus multiple indigo vat dips, then quilting and set-making. Comparable natural-indigo quilted sets retail ₹7,500+; this is the direct-from-belt price.
Will indigo transfer onto light sheets?
Before its first wash a trace of crocking is possible — one cold solo wash (or first dry clean) settles it. That behaviour is the fingerprint of genuine vat indigo.
Is 'dabu' the same as Sanganeri?
Sister crafts of the same Jaipur belt — Sanganeri is fine floral printing on light grounds, dabu is mud-resist vat work. We label each exactly; this set is dabu and proud of it.
